Our Team have formally initiated a request for an independent forensic and statutory audit of the administration and accounts of Shri Vadapalani Andavar Temple, Chennai, based on findings from recent internal audit reports.
Our team—bringing five decades of association and expertise in finance and accounting—submitted a formal representation to the HR&CE Department requesting an independent forensic and statutory audit of Chennai's Shri Vadapalani Andavar Temple.
Following internal audit findings for Fasli Years
1434–1435, we have issued a notice dated 20.5.26 to Commissioner
HRCE for appointing independent Chartered Accountants to review
property management, lease revenues, assets, and compliance.
Additionally, we are pushing HR&CE to issue an RFP for a
modernized ERP Accounting and Administration System's UI to track property management, lease
management, accounting, finances, donations, and audits. This
time-bound initiative aims to enhance transparency, enforce financial
discipline, recover assets, and rebuild public trust through robust
institutional governance.
As we have not had a formal
reply from the Commissioner, we are now working to initiate a writ of
Certiorarified Mandamus on the Commissioner HRCE to comply with the
above two requirements.
