As part of these efforts, then in the year 1996,  Sri S.N. Varadarajan as the Managing Trustee of the Trust established Singanallur Narasimha Iyer Vedapatasala at Elapully Village, Palakkad, Kerala, out of his own personal funds mainly and few contributions from well-wishers.  The purpose was to propagate the teachings of Vedas to all those who wished to learn it in the traditional gurukula concept.  The entire cost of education including boarding and lodging was borne by the Trust.
